I just think brides with tattoos are SO BEAUTIFUL! We picked a couple and a single lovely lady to do this styled shoot here in Winter Park Florida! This venue is SO COOL and perfect for ELOPEMENTS right now in 2020. It's used to be a big seafood warehouse that is now converted to the happiest little plant shop in town. Being surrounded by plants and home decor has the beauty of a non-traditional wedding without spending a lot of money on decor, and without ushering everyone inside because of storms in the forecast. There is also a magical garden outside that you can have your elopement or micro wedding in! With all of the plants growing around the shop, you don't need to bring much of anything else with you besides the bouquet, and guess what? They have a flower bar where you can create your OWN BOUQUET and a florist and you can also take your very own plant home or come back to this location for anniversaries for years to come to shop for house plants! How fun is that for an elopement activity?

Why do we love tattooed brides so much? Well, my partner and I own a tattoo studio, and we struggled so much in finding a part of the city and property manager that would allow us to have a tattoo shop in their plaza or area! I had no idea that there was still such a terrible stereotype on tattooing! As it turns out a tattoo studio is viewed as a "problematic business"...I was shocked! Some cities have ordinances blocking tattoo shops or limiting the number of parlors within their borders. Some city councils claim they attract crime, or have an adverse societal impact, or some other reason (you can insert your own absurd and outdated notion here.) Now I have seen clients crocheting while getting tattooed at our tattoo shop, and we have a yearly event where we adopt out KITTENS and do little tattoos of cats. Welcome to the year 2020 people lol!

Do they think we only tattoo gang symbols? I just don't know. Since 1 in 5 Americans today has a tattoo, I went really far down the rabbit hole and started researching tattoos in societies, cultures, and you guessed it again...at events such as weddings. I found so many articles on "how to cover your tattoos on your wedding day" , and very few articles on "10 dresses to show off your tattoo art." So here I am. Ready to change all of that!
