Those of you who follow me know that I'm a huge Harry Potter fan! Having devoured the books and movies, and having a season pass to Universal Studios right here in my backyard has given me so much inspiration that a Harry Potter themed wedding was a no brainer!

There are so many special details that really set off the Harry Potter theme. From the potions making bar, the Chocolate frog cake, Marauder's map invitation, and inspired jewelry just to name a few. Let's not forget about the fabulous Ravelclaw Bridal dress and Gryffindor, Hufflepuff, and Slytherin bridesmaids! The beautiful crown and makeup, wild florals, and authentic styled props really make up the look of this fairy tale wedding. The tablescape is adorned with brass decor, crystal balls, Always plates and chargers, and wild florals in a cemetery vase urn.

The Tattooed Bride Photography was behind the concept and styling, and utterly stunning photographs are just magic.

We had lots of deep, dark colors, textures, and interesting little moody lights and backdrops both inside and outside of the venue. I aimed at keeping everything traditional and magical but still achievable by anyone. The floating candles are an easy project for anyone to DIY, and all of the details can be easily re-created by any vendor.
