Grace and Eli hiked into the Florida woods and eloped in nature surrounded at Split Oak Forest. The ceremony was beyond intimate where the couple chose to stand in between a two hundred year old live oak that survived being split down the middle.
The couple had their first look in a beautiful quiet field, and enjoyed some bird watching together before heading out to hike to the split oak ceremony site. Bird watching and enjoying nature has always been a hobby that the couple shared and has grown over the years. We then hiked two miles to the ceremony site, but still stopped along the way for a little bit of bird watching and nature appreciation. The couple wrote their vows in Florida field note books, and a little custom carabiner engraved with their elopement date dangled from their hiking pack next to the bride's dried flower bouquet.
The hike ended on a sweet note with donuts shared! I was honored to (The Tattooed Bride Photography) officiated their elopement, and I'm so dang proud of these two for planning the perfect elopement day for themselves!
