This bride and groom went tubing and swimming in Florida's springs after they said I do! Ryan and Desiree got married at a different freshwater spring, but did not have the opportunity to jump in the water on their wedding day, so we made it happen after as a trash the dress shoot! The water at the springs was so clean and pure that it actually probably ended up cleaning the dress more than trashing it, but oh man did we have fun!
I love the springs in Florida! Don't get me wrong, the beach is great. There is just something about kayaking, swimming, or tubing in 70 degree clear blue spring water though. Florida has so many different kinds of springs that you can tube down, kayak and see alligators and manatees, and you can even dive deep down into some clear blue underwater caves in some heads of springs.
Can you think of a better way to trash the dress than to float down a spring together holding hands? It was SO much fun, and so relaxing. After we trashed the dress and took our photos, I jumped in with the couple to float down the springs myself and we had the best time!
