Chelsea + Sean Got Married at Epic Universe

If you’ve ever looked at a theme park and thought, yeah, I could absolutely get married here — Chelsea and Sean are proof that you can make a wedding day feel completely like you.

Their day started at Cabana Bay, getting ready before heading over to Epic Universe for the main event. And by main event, I mean exchanging vows in front of Frankenstein’s castle in Dark Universe. Because if you’re going to get married at Epic Universe, you might as well go all in.

After their vows, we spent the day exploring the park and taking wedding photos throughout Dark Universe, running around Super Nintendo World, riding rides, and eventually getting absolutely soaked playing in the Florida rain.

It was weird. Romantic. A little chaotic. And completely perfect.

This is exactly why I love photographing nontraditional weddings and elopements. Your wedding day doesn’t have to revolve around a ballroom, a seating chart, or doing things a certain way just because that’s how weddings are “supposed” to happen. It can be an entire day built around the things you actually love doing together.

And yes — you can plan your own Epic Universe wedding or elopement.

I’ve put together an entire Epic Universe Elopement Guide for couples who want to do something like this, including things to think about when planning your day, photography, timelines, park logistics, backup plans, and how to make the experience actually feel like your wedding day instead of just a trip to a theme park.

I’ll be sharing my full How to Get Married at Epic Universe guide here on the blog next.

For now, come see what Chelsea + Sean’s wedding day looked like.

Welcome to their Epic adventure. 🖤
